The features of optimal nonhormonal therapy of vegetative disorders among women with postmenopause

Objectives: to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of Vitae-Melatonin in complex treatment vegetative disorders postmenopausal women.Materials and methods. The 64 women who complained were included our prospective study. Patients divided into groups. first group consisted 31 prescribed a herbal preparation Cimicifuga racemosa extract – 30 mg/day for 3 months. second 33 patients received addition medicine every evening 2 hours before bedtime 1 month. therapy was assessed 1, months after start based on dynamics psychological disorders, somatic symptoms, vasomotor sexual sleep problems satisfaction with therapy.Results. use containing rhizome alone or combination significantly reduced manifestations including dyssomnia month from therapy. After therapy, advantage combined involving compared monotherapy marked by significant reduction (р = 0.003, р 0.01, 0.02 p 0.015, respectively). Patient during menopause monophytotherapy probably higher (risk ratio 1.63, 95% confidence interval 1.09–2.44, 0.018). There no difference between two research groups regarding side effects drugs (p > 0.05).Conclusions. at dose phytotherapy had clear effect, which both initial indicators comparison monophytotherapy. Results study showed safety melatonin, as well willingness participants continue using melatonin treatment.
